Taste is just an opinion, but I consider the Veyron to be a well styled car. I know VW has to think about who is buying these things and play into trends to some degree but Bugatti should be treated with care. It should be Classy and with homage paid to the past. I’d like to see future Bugattis retain that classic sense of style so that 100 years from now they can be displayed next to the original Bugattis, Voisins, and other French cars and be seen as evolutionary.
Incidentally...the EB112, EB118 concept, and EB218 concept were Giugiaro designs. I don’t think he designed the Veyron but look at the aforementioned and tell me if they got that Veyron design language - theme - whatever from the Giugiaro work. Sure looks like he set the tone.
